Hello again!

After consulting Nokia support, I applied HFA313 to my firewall, and
that appears to have solved the problem. Unfortunately, I have no
further information on the actual cause of the problem. I noticed that
others reported the same problem, but nobody noted a solution, so I hope
this helps.

Mike

Subject: [FW-1] NAT Hide failure reported in logs

I recently noticed some curious entries for dropped packets in my logs.
No source or destination info is given, interface information is listed
as "daemon," and the message info states

"NAT Hide failure: no ports available to perform hide operation."

The following error also appears in /var/log/messages:

[LOG_CRIT] kernel: FW-1: fw_xlate_anticipate: fwx_anticipate_server_side
failed.

I notice no symptoms other than the log messages. Performance has not
suffered.

Has anyone seen this before? Please advise...

Thanks,

Mike
