According to some entries in this PhoneBoy FAQ >> http://www.phoneboy.com/fom-serve/cache/457.html, Check Point "broke" (whether accidentally or deliberately) the earlier functionality of being able to NAT behind a 'default' (0.0.0.0/0) object.
