You can use state synchronisation without cluster XL, but for this you have to specify on the cpconfig that you enable checkpoint high availability /state synchronization. then on the policy editor, create a firewall cluster object don't create each module separately, or you won't be able to add them in the cluster. in the cluster members, declare each module. then in the synchronization check the "state synchronisation" box and add a network for the synchronization. check that your state synchro works by watching on your synchronization network and look for UDP packets on port 8116. hope this'll help et bon courage pour la config nicolas figaro -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: vendredi 11 juillet 2003 16:45 To: [email protected] Subject: [FW-1] State synchronization without ClusterXL on NG-FP3 Hi all, Is-it possible to use StateSynchronization between two gateways without ClusterXL installed and configured ? If it is, is there a documentation which explains that ? Thanks.
