hi, in NG the syntax of the logfile-name (if you do a logswitch) is ipso-example: 2003-07-07_111854.log yyyy-mm-dd_hhmmss.log yyyy = year mm = month dd = day of month hh = hour mm = minute ss = second cheers reinhard -----UrsprÃngliche Nachricht----- Von: JEFFREY HAWLEY [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet: Mi 09.07.2003 22:49 An: [email protected] Cc: Betreff: [FW-1] Log Files Naming Scheme Hello All, I am using Checkpoint Firewall NG, and I do not understand the file naming scheme. It starts with year-mo-da__xx.log. I was wondering were the extra numbers at the end, after the date, come from. Thank you.
