[FW-1] AW: [FW-1] User Auth and re-authentication

Hi,

I do not quite understand the problem. Are you talking about users using a
dialup or adsl connection through AOL which need to access one of your
webservers after authenticating?

AOL users often use the AOL-ProxyCluster (Megaproxy) whilst firfing in the
internet. Since the cluster is using many different IPs, with this cluster
it could very well be that "every" client request comes from another
IP-Adress. This could mean that the user authenticates with IP-address[a],
but the next request come from IP-address[b] and so on. I do not know how to
configure AOL, but I would try to deactivate the proxy or use another one.

Here's the deal, I have a 2 Sun 280's running in HA with CXL. FP3 and the
latest HFA. When User authenticated, they then get prompted for every
object that is loaded on the page (images, etc). It seems to only happen
with AOL users. Anyone seen this? CP has no idea. Thanks

Bill
