Re: [FW-1] Cisco Content Switch(CSS) and HA

Here is what I've done so far. I placed and L2 switches in-between the
Nokia's and CSS, put them into identical VLANs on the switches, and the
interfaces are reporting their Master/Backup Status correctly and failover
of the Nokia's works fine when I unplug a FW interface.

However, when I unplug a CSS interfaces, the CSS do failover, but traffic
stops at the backup CSS. At this point I know it's a switch configuration
issue or some type of ARP issue.

Any thoughts here folks?

We are configuring a DMZ network in a HA environment using VRRPmc. Our DMZ
interfaces are connected directly to the CSS boxes. What's happening is
that our DMZ interfaces are both showing up as Master. I was told that this
is because the CSS boxes are not allowing or configured to participate to
allow MCAST or IGMP traffic thru.

Is anyone familiar with configuring the CSS to allow fo this?
