Were
you just using one workstation behind the tunnel? Phoneboy has a document
on this that states that PPTP does not work with HIDE NAT. I found that to
be true on 4.1, if I was using more than one host to connect through the
tunnel.

This is using the built-in XP Professional
client.

Hide Nat
What Operating system are
you trying to create the PPTP tunnel from? We noticed that we were able to
do it fine from Win2K, but it would not work from Win
NT4.0.

Hey Guys, I recently upgrade from CP
4.1 to NG FP3. I use Hide NAT to NAT all my internal workstations out
to the Internet. From my internal desktop I need to create a Microsoft
PPTP tunnel to a server out on the internet and since the upgrade to NG it
has stopped working. So the tunnel used to be
created just fine with 4.1 and now with NG it won't work at all. I
don't see any drops in my logs at all between my desk and the PPTP
server.
Anyone else seen this or able to create a PPTP
tunnel through a hide nat?? Thanks --Stevo
