[FW-1] Generating a SSL CSR (certificate signing request)

Hi,

I have a procedure for generating a CSR with VeriSign, that works fine.
What about using another vendor like FreeSSL or GeoTrust?
My problem is that in the Verisign procedure I first needed to Download from
Verising a "Test CA Root". Which is then used when you press "Get" on the
OPSEC PKI Tab. Then I can generate the CSR.
Is that the general procedure for other CAs? Should they supply this "CA
Root" certificate?
