Your synchronization hack days have come to an end. Sorry :( Due to the internal CA embedded in the management server, you will no longer be able to just copy files over in this fashion. Actually Check Point has a nifty new product that is right up your alley. Its called Management High Availability. Works like a champ. In the pass we setup our management servers as: Solaris 2.7 CP FW 4.1 SP5 ( Firewall module + Management module on each Primary & Secondary server) i.e: We have had 2 Firewall + 2 Management modules licences StoneBeat 3.1.4 So after we made some change in the Primary server we usually copy the following files from the Primary to the Secondary and then installed the policy from there Current-Policy.W rulebases.fws objects.C It is working fine until we upgrade that to NG FP3 i.e: Solaris 2.8 CP NG FP3 StoneBeat 3.1.6 It does NOT work anymore if we just copied the above 3 files. So if anyone how know which files to copy or how to fix it please let us know Regards, Trung Nguyen Email: [email protected] __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
