Thomas,

To me this might mean that the "Management Station Name" object is not
correctly defined. The parameters in this file are normally sent, during
policy installation, to the Firewall module based on what is defined in
the Firewall object log and masters tab, have you checked this ???

Guy,

Sorry but I`ve wrote this in a further mail to this ML.
The masters file on the firewall module is:

[Policy]
Mangement Station Name
[Log]
Mangement Station Name
[Alert]
Mangement Station Name

But I´ve changed it to:

[Policy]
Mangement Station Name
[Log]
IP-Address of Mangement Station Name
[Alert]
Mangement Station Name

After a new start from the firewall module (cpstop, cpstart) all log entries
are send
fo 5 or 6 minutes to the managment station. After this time logging stops
again without a
entry in the log file.
It`s crazy!

Thomas
