Re: [FW-1] NG - RADIUS- Logon Scripts

I can only report how it works for us: we use RADIUS for SecureClient
auth, but only UID/password for NT.

We didn't do anything specific to get a login script to run!
It works well for us, and my understanding of the way it works is:

- Network connection properties has both SecureClient (or Remote) ticked
and Client for Microsoft Networks.

- The attempt to contact a Domain Controller for domain login forces
SecureClient into life

- VPN-1 authentication takes place - authenticating against RADIUS server

- once authenticated by VPN-1 the rest continues as if the user was on the
LAN - i.e. the DC processes the login request and fires off the login
script if successful.

Hello Gurus,

I have NG running on Nokia for our VPN Project. I have Steel-Belted Radius
(SBR)for authentication for our NT Domain. NG is SBR's client.

Secure Client User requests for an authentication - NG pass it to SBR - SBR
looks up with Domain Controller for authentication.

How do I pass the logon scripts information to NG? Is there a attribute
that I can set NG so that it can take input from SBR to launch the logon
scripts once user is authenticated?

The simple purpose is to launch logon scripts for remote users once they
are
authenticated, so the remote users gets their drives mapped.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John Smithson
