I'm not so sure what makes the Nokia box so special.. From what I can tell the boxes are just (or my at least IP440's) Intel processor based systems, Heck even the system board on boot up says it's an Intel. So how can IPSO now the difference? something in the BIOS maybe?
i tried this some months ago onto a vmware session, but it dindn't get passed the floppy boot up. besides that, the hardware vmware simulates wouldn't work with ipso anyhow? -----Original Message-----.com Subject: [FW-1] Running IPSO on normal PC Hi, Does Anyone know if it is possible to run IPSO on a normal I386 computer. Or in a VMWare session? I want to use this in field testing, troubleshooting. It's hard to carry around an Nokia appliance with me all the time. So something like an VMWare sollution would be great. I've allready tried to get it up and running, but can't get it to work.
