Re: [FW-1] Answer file with SecuRemote installation- possible??

You have to install the packaging tool on a machine that has
SecuRemote/SecureClient installed and configured. Then run through the
options and when it gets to the part where it asks for the Client installed
files point it to the directory where it is installed on the current machine
(c:\Program Files\Checkpoint\SecuRemote or something close to that) Then
generate your package. Now install it on a TEST machine everything should
be there.

Good Luck.

Chris.

Hi. I was just wondering how to use the packaging tool to define the site
etc. I have downloaded the customizable download from Checkpoint's site but
don't know how to use it

Use the "Secure Client Packaging tool" that is available from the checkpoint
site.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use an answer file with a SecuRemote
installation (Build 4200) to be specific? This allows the ability to
blindly answer the questions during the install, without the end user having
to do anything. Thanks.
