Just
so happens that I have been experiencing a similar problem with VirusWall.
I have an open case with TrendMicro concerning this problem. What I have
discovered is that whenever there is a leading dot '.' on a line in the message
body, Viruswall is adding an additional dot '..' to the line. Apparently,
this is the first that TrendMicro has heard of this
issue.
Very
simple to test if you have the same problem. Just send yourself a short
message with a line in the body with a leading dot. See if it returns two
dots your way. What was happening at our site was 'quoted-printable'
encoded MIME .pdf files were being corrupted. Every line that had a
leading dot was being sent to the client for decoding with two dots and thus the
problem.
BTW,
I am running Viruswall 3.53 Build 1439.
