Clustering has some challenges - it is Nokias first stab, and is a bit flaky. Problem1: if single interface fails, not noticed by cluster Problem2: load balancing on straight connections not too good As an aside, I noticed while putting together a course: IPSO3.6 (using either CP NG FP2 or CP NG FP3) seems to handle IP multicast without passing to CP. This I consider a potentially serious problem. This does not occur on IPSO3.5. Now we're moving to two Nokia boxes IP530. Have anyone configured a Nokia Cluster with Ipso 3.6 (clustering, not VRRP)?. What do you have to configure in Check Point?.
