Re: [FW-1] Anyone know of CheckPoint VPN clients for iPac or Noki a Communicator

I've had great luck with the Movian VPN client, going through a CheckPoint
4.1 gateway using ike/des, using a Compaq ipaq with a pcmcia 'aircard 300'
which is a wireless cdpd cell-phone card (for use on at&t's network
primarily). I also dropped a telnet client and a wap web browser on top
(Klondike), for a pretty complete turnkey solution. The only thing I wish I
had was a 'driveimage' type application to setup the ipaqs and reconfigure
them when users screw them up (maybe we could call it 'flashimage'.... :>

Imaging the possibilities... sales forces, law enforcement, mobile workers
of any profession, given quick access to all sorts of data securely,
wirelessly, etc... A cool solution might include a vpn, web application,
and a receipt printer/barcorde scanner for all sorts of business
applications. Just food for thought.

Best of luck.

There is a client for the Pocket PC range. It is listed as a Windows CE
build:
