Re: [FW-1] Mac VPN client Question

Title: RE: [FW-1] Mac VPN client Question
There is a utility on www.versiontracker.com called VPN-tracker or something like that which is a front end to the IPSEC on 10.2.  They haev several predefined configurations, maybe someone more familiar can look at it, set it up for FW-1 and share the config file with the vendor and the list 8-)

Also if anyone knows of a working configuration for Cisco VPN box, that would be great too....8-)

You are correct.  The Mac client is just a basic IPsec client and doesn't have any of the functionality of SecuRemote or SecureClient.

Of course, CheckPoint says they plan on a Mac client, but they haven't updated the current one in a very long time.

Maybe since Mac OS X has IPsec built-in someone can convince them to change their mind a little?

I downloaded and read the release notes for the Mac VPN client. I  assumed
that this would be software  that is eqivalent to Secure Client and would  have
the functionality  to lock down the Mac workstation with a policy from the
firewall just like Secure Client can. After reading the release notes it  looks
like that is NOT  possible .  Am I right or did I miss something?
