[FW-1] RE: [FW-1] [FW-1] canīt do a fw log switch
Hi,
To resolve this issue you will have to edit the "control.map" file.
The file specifies the commands for which authentication is required.
Remove the command "logswitch" from the list. This will resolve your
problem.
You will have to bounce the firewall after doing this. Also take a backup of
original "control.map" file before proceding with the changes.

iīm running checkpoint 4.1 and since 2 weeks i canīt do the command fw
logswitch.
If i try to switch the log i get the message
# fw logswitch

Authentication for command logswitch failed
Log switch failed

Do anyone know a solution for this problem?
