try upgrading the Ipso image first, and then.... put the package into the nokia and just run:

#newpkg -m LOCAL -n [package.tgz] -o $FWDIR.

That should do it... try that

I have to perform the same upgrade this days.

Does anybody have a step-by-step procedure (with common problems and tweaks) to upgrade FW-4.1 to FP3 on IPSO3.4.1-fcs10.

So basically I have to upgrade the IPSO also simultaneously to 3.6.

What I am looking for is the right way to do it. I mean can I go to 3.6 from 3.4.1 straight away? Similarly how about 4.1 to FP3.

I am sure there are enough Pros who have done this many times and exactly know the procedure without experiencing lot of downtime(I have only one nokia box) so I cannot do a fresh install on one box and upgrade it from there.
