Re: [FW-1] Small Problem

Hi,
if you can't connect and the routing etc. is ok, try in a test
environment the command
  fw unloadlocal
This unloads (afaik) the default filter also.
If it's a system connected to the Internet, bounce the firewall using
fwstop and fwstart. Then, the file gui-clients will be read during the
start and the connection from this IP accepted (also by default rulebase).
Hope it helps,
best regards,
Matthias

Hello Friends,

I have installed NG on a linux server through the
command line. It installed perfectly. Now i want to
add rules, I have added my client IP address in the
GUI client list, but I am not able to ping or access
the linux system from the client.

My Friends says' i need to add a basic rule like allow
any any and install the policy then i will have access
to it.

But i don't know how to add that rule from the command
line.

Need your help!

Thanks in advance
Partha
