Re: [FW-1] How to move a managment station

Hi Chrish
You have to do the following.

First save the following files:Objects_5_0.C,rulebases_5_0.fws,fwauth.NDB
In addition to the above files, you also need to backup and import the
following:
Install the new Management Server.
Reset SIC on the enforcement modules.
Stop the Management Server.
Copy the saved files into the new mangement server.

Asunto: [FW-1] How to move a managment station

I need to move my current NG FP2 managment station to a new machine to
manage the current 2 enforcment modules. The new machine will be a different
host with a different ip.

Please could someone advise me how to do this or if there are any
instructions to copy my policy package over, I will also have to make a new
internal ca and re-do the sic I guess because the new man station has a
different hostname. Both systems run the same windows os.

Thanks

Chris Connell
