Hi.
Better still you could have 2 viruswalls for load balancing and
direct them both to the same Mail server.
As pointed out the mails will start getting queued up. Use
viruswalls
only for the important services ftp/http/smtp ..
and yes u can configure the firewall to allow traffic through.
