[FW-1] pop3, news-sessions reset ...
hi,
I have an interesting problem:
fw1 NGFP2 on ipso 3.5
pop3, nntp (maybe others) session can be established:
myfirewall[admin]# telnet mailserver 110
port=110
Trying 193.53.80.73...
Connected to xx
Escape character is '^]'.
+OK QPOP (version 2.53) at x starting.
but then - suddenly the connection is list without any reason:
retr 1
+OK 1699850 octets
Connection closed by foreign host.
myfirewall[admin]#
I can reproduce this test from the firewall. when I stop fw1 (cpstop) it
works fine.
there are no drops in the fw1-log and no error-messages in the
/var/log/messages or $FWDIR/log/*elg-files.
maybe this is a memory-problem because this ip330 has only 64MB ram - but
other services (ftp, telnet, ssh, smtp) work fine ...
any ideas?
