Re: [FW-1] Policies on SecurePlatform (VSX)

David,

Did CP tell you why this was not supported ? We also have a
cluster of SecurePlatfrom NG FP2 edition 2 that are managed by
a Windows NG FP2 box, only difference is that ours an NT box is
 not a W2K ...

Subject: [FW-1] Policies on SecurePlatform (VSX)

I have:

an NG FP2 Enterprise Management server, running on Win2K
in which I have created a policy

an NG FP2 firewall, running on SecurePlatform, which I
need to configure to implement the policy

I am told by CheckPoint that the former cannot be used to
manage the latter, that only a "VSX" management module, such
as the one directly on the firewall box, can manage it.

Q: How do I get the policy I need onto the firewall, BEFORE
the deadline that is bearing down on me???

If it involves copying files, I can do that. If I have to re-
enter the policy from scratch, I can do that, too. But I don't
know where or how....
