hi adrian, there is a solution skI3312 in the knowledge-base the command fwm sic_reset will reset ALL sic-keys BUT BE CAREFULL! you will have to reinitialize SIC after that command it's less work than reinstalling the whole stuff. walter nordmann, cards germany -----Original Message----- From: Adrian Elford [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thu 8/1/2002 14:17 To: [email protected] Cc: Subject: [FW-1] NG Certificate Authority We have NG base installation running on Solaris 8 My OPSEC Application is 'initialized but trust not established' and I have successfully run 'opsec_get_cert' to create a certificate file. I believe the application should then become 'trusted' so that my client can then connect to the LEA server, but this never happens. We think this may be because the Certificate Authority refers to the old host name which we have tried to re-create, but it still uses the old hostname. Do we need to re-install ? - thanks for the help Regards Adrian Elford Network Management Specialist Nortel Networks Global Professional Services Tel +44 1480 453013 (ESN 861 7147) Mob +44 7740 671211 (ESN 748 1211) ================================================To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================
