SecurePlatform is a customised Linux (I think based on Red Hat, but not sure). All you need to do is boot from the CD made from the ISO image and follow the prompts. Note: When you install SecurePlatform, it overwrites the hard drives in the machine, including any existing partitions. -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Leonardo Boulton Sent: Wednesday, July 31, 2002 8:47 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW-1] Checkpoint on Linux I have an Intel PC with RedHat Linux 7.3 (anaconda) linux installed as a server. I downloaded the Secure Platform ISO image, and burned the CD. What do I have to install?. Do I have to install the Secure Platform first, and then go to the UnixInstallScript on the CheckPoint CD to install the SVN, FW-1, and so?, or the secure platform does it all? Thanks a lot.
