Re: [FW-1] Site to site IKE VPN

Title: Message

Problem Solved. The problem was in the encryption domain I had a network defined as 10.1.0.0/16 and the machines IP was 10.1.127.x (both were in the encryption domain) this worked fine between cisco pix and checkpoint but when we moved the VPN to cisco 7200 we saw errors when trying to connect to this one host.

Thanks,

Jason

First guess would be that on the gateway for the "hosts" in your net-to-host VPN, the host you are trying to hit is not specified as something that should be accessible... just a wild guess.

Subject: [FW-1] Site to site IKE VPN

All,

I am currently working a VPN configuration between checkpoint 4.1 sp5 and cisco 7200. I have been able to get the tunnel working for all hosts except 1 when the other side tries to connect to this one host I get a message IKE: Log: Received notification from peer: no proposal chosen. The VPN is setup as a network to host but the configs are the same on both sides. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason Jernigan
