Title: RE: [FW-1] Securemote HOWTO

Hi,

Add your network Servers& Desktops' IP and hostnames to the host & Lmhost files of the SecuRemote machine or similar files for different OSs.

Then download the topolgy and try again.
I had similar problems ad that is the way I solved it.

Regards,
Serge

Subject: [FW-1] Securemote HOWTO

Hi all, I'm trying to setup a Securemote connection
from a dialup pc to my internal lan.

Since I wasn't able to find any good reference on how to setup
this I ask you some guidelines.

This is my current setup :
I'm using Securemote NG FP2 and I'm trying
to connect to a FW-1 NG HF2.

I'm able to connect to the external ( routable )
address of my FW, authentication takes place and
it seems that a userc.C file is created with all
the information about network and interfaces connected
to the FW itself

Now the point is that I can't get inside my Lan, and I don't
have any clue to solve this.

I've tried different solutions, enabling IP Pool Nat, trying different
authentication methods but with no luck
What looks "odd" to me is when and how routing takes place
that is how my laptop knows the way to go to the internal net
( defined as encryption domain under VPN tab of my FW )

Any help is appreciated

Regards,
Andrea
