Have You enabled a "traceroute" service to pass through Your firewall?

Subject: [FW-1] ping and traceroute in NG FP2

Hello all,

I can't get ping and traceroute working over the Firewall (Nokia IP440, IPSO
3.5). When I do a tracert from my workstation I only get a reply from the
firewall. In the logging I only see an echo-request (icmp 8-0) from my
workstation to the destination host beiing accepted.
When I start a traceroute on the Nokia to the same destination (eg. cnn.com)
it works.
In the rulebase I accept echo-reply and time exceeded icmp packets back to
my workstation.

It seems to be a Checkpoint problem, but such a basic need for network
testing must work. Any suggestions or do we have to wait until the next FP?
