Hi,
Yes the remote firewalls are defined as external, and gateway.
Management station is also not selected on these objects.
any ideas ?

do you have both the firewall objects defined as "External" on the other
ends policy editor?
I mean, fw-a is external on B and vice versa.

Hi All,
Im settin up a VPN between 4.1 on NT and NG FP2 on Win 2000 and something
happened that never happened to me before.
On the 4.1 box, I define the NG firewall and vice versa as encryption
gateways. However when I try and install a security policy, both firewall
objects are now showing up as managed modules, and my gui is complaiing
about licensing issues (that its licensed for one module only). Both
machines have their own separate local management station, and do not need
to be managed by the same management station.
When I tried this in my lab, it worked as expected, ie created the fw
workstation object but it didt show up as a manageable module. I couldnt
manage to replicate this in my lab, and was wondering if anyone ever came
across this or any ideas on how to solve it.
