the firewall isn't started and cp is controlling ip forwarding? or you haven't enabled ip forwarding in the registry? -----Original Message----- Subject: [FW-1] fw1 fp2 windows 2000 server sp2. why ???. hi; I installed a new server . the license is ok. - the external interface address. the routes were working before i installed the FW1 fp2 , and i could reac= h everywhere. I defined only one rule - any to any "accept". the server has DMZ, LAN,WAN interfaces. LAN and DMZ are define behined "hide NAT", internal. WAN defined without "NAT" , official licensed ip, defined as external . pinging from the server i can reach everywhere. pinging from one of the internal machines - connected to the "LAN" interf= ace ,there no reply, NO LOG . not even in network monitor ( on the firewall machine).
