[FW-1] starting the gui in "demo" mode

If all you want is a demo GUI, and you say you can't get it top work, then
simply install the FP2 GUI on the same machine? they install seperately, i
have GUI's from 5, FP1, FP2 on my desktop...

jp

I can't imagine why it won't open in *local mode however.

Bill,

I used FWadmin as the user the password didn't matter and *local for the
server, works in NG to.

Hope it helps, if you are resolved then my apologies.

Thanks for all the responses. Unfortunately, no matter how many times we
all say it (including me as that what how I remembered it as well), I
just can't get it to work on a remote gui running 4.1. I heard from one
source that this feature disappeared. Apparently, NG has a checkbox
(Thanks Marcus for this note) - I guess this would be one more reason to
upgrade.
