I have a customer that is getting
the following error "Failed to load
security policy, no valid fm license"
Have
been to the secure knowledge site and have completed the actions
recommended
“Solution:
Make sure
that the IP address specified in the license is associated with a fully
configured IP address on the hardware and OS level.
1. Insure that the
license has been installed and that no old expired licenses are still
installed:
Run 'fw printlic' from the $FWDIR/bin directory.
2. Insure
that the license was generated for the correct IP address: look at the putlic
string you were issued for your license and insure that the correct IP address
is listed: 'fw putlic <IP Address> <key> <features>
3.
Insure that the interface has been installed and is configured "UP". (ifconfig
<interface name>)”
The customer is running HG FP2 on
a Win2K platform in a single gateway and manager configuration (Single
system)
The problem is that the error has
not gone away, does anyone have some suggestions or
ideas?
