Don, Have you got any info on the risks of the web-based clients (versus the full-install variety) for these items? Are they parallel one-to-one? Or are the web-based ones "safer" (foot in mouth) due to more limited functionality? -----Original Message----- From: Don [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, June 12, 2002 2:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FW-1] [fw-1] Instant Messenger bypass FW-1 > We are in the process of changing operating systems on all our PCs and > I am going to seriously attempt to just block my users from installing > software on their PCs. Although locking down the desktops will help prevent some of the issues that arise from running AIM, they can't protect you from everything. -Don ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
