I've set up PCAW through a firewall many times without a problem. I
suggest going through the standard NAT/rulebase checklist and making
sure all of your ducks are in a row.

Proper routing between inside host and firewall?
Proxy arp for host configured on firewall?
Host route in firewall routing table?
Object properly defined?
Access rule correct? (including order)
NAT rule correct? (including order)

Subject: [FW-1] PcAnywhere connection

I am trying to take control of a server using PcAnywhere behind a Check
Point firewall 4.1 sp4. The server is statically natted behind the
firewall. But i am not able to connect the server using PcAnywhere as it
gives a error "request timed out". we are using PcAnywhere 9.2 and have
opened ports 5631 (TCP) and 5632 (UDP). On checking the firewall logs it
shows connection to server using PcAnywhere ports accepted.

Requesting assistance.
