hi, see this... http://www.phoneboy.com/faq/0150.html regards rich -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Torkel Mathisen Sent: 07 June 2002 11:21 To: [email protected] Subject: [FW-1] strange msgs in messages-file Hi Yesterday we had some strange msgs in /var/adm/messages: FW-1: log message queue is full FW-1: lost 1024 log/trap messages FW-1: log message queue is full FW-1: lost 1024 log/trap messages x100 entries or something. Can anyone tell me what those means? This is a Stonebeat Fullcluster 3.0 with Firewall-1 4.1 SP3 and it all startet when we had to restart one of the node. >From that moment on we got these entries in the other node. I tried putkeys several times, but that didn't help. When I did a fw ctl pstat I couldn't see the sync-info at the end. It simply wasn't there. When we tried to push the policy from the management we got "resource temporary unavailable" message. However, fetch from the module worked fine. Finally we just restarted the firewall and when it started again, everything was fine. Anyone have any idea as of why this happened? And also what these msgs means?
