Re: [FW-1] Defining network objects internal or external?

Internal objects are objects that are managed by your management
workstation (for example your firewall(s)). External objects are objects
that the firewall needs to have knowledge of but that are either unmanaged
(like a computer at a business partner's site that you are allowing ftp
access to your ftp server) or are managed by another management
workstation (like a business partner's firewall that you are doing sit to
site VPN with but it managed by his management workstation).

My fw is 4.1 SP5.

In the Workstation Properties, there is the location
selection. What does it mean to select internal vs.
external? Why should I select one over another? Any
information is appricated.

Thanks,

Yim
