Hi,
I followed this procedure ... I applied the Feature Pack 1 and I obtain this message:

# cpstart
Start  cpshared
SVN Foundation: Starting cpWatchDog
SVN Foundation: Starting cpd
SVN Foundation: Starting snmpd
SVN Foundation started
Start  fw-1
FireWall-1: starting external VPN module -- OK
FireWall-1: Starting fwd
FireWall-1: Starting fwm (Remote Management Server)

 


Installing Security Policy defaultfilter on all.all@wazowski
 Failed to Load Security Policy: Invalid argument
 Failed to Load Security Policy: Invalid argument
Fetching Security Policy from localhost failed

 

When I applied the license in NG Installation (no FP1) .. appear it:

Warning: Can't find ::cpvp-vee-u-mgmt-ng in cp.macro. License version might be not compatible

With FP1 .. not appear it but appear the above message.

Listing of 83 packages for Core installation with 64-bit OS support.
Listing of 58 packages that are NOT required and can be removed.
Listing of 5 packages required for FW-1 NG support.
Listing of 30 total packages your installation should look like.
Listing of optional packages you may want to add to your firewall.

Hi there,

        I am trying to install NG on a Solaris machine.  I am having all
sorts of trouble.  Does someone have detail instructions on how to
install NG on a Solaris box.
