Andrew, the host count is stored in a firewall table, you can use the fw tab command to view and delete the host count. If you do delete the count, keep in mind that you will have to delete the fwd.hosts and fwd.h files form the $FWDIR/database directory as well. To view the table fw tab -t host_table -u to delete fw tab -t host_table -x (the -u is for unlimited, that is it will display the whole table. -x is for delete) The output is in HEX. There are scripts and perl programs out there to automatically convert hex ip addresses to decimal you may want to look for one of these. :) --Mike. -----Original Message----- From: <Your Name> [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, May 30, 2002 1:31 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW-1] license limit Hello everyone, I hope you can help. I've setup my IP400 Nokia firewall badly. I'm running a 50 user internet gateway version of Checkpoint 4.1. I've exceeded my count (incorrect setup of my external interface) and the firewall is starting to slow. How can I find out how many client license are in use and is there a way to reset it now that I've disconnected the offending interface. Any help very much appreciated. I'd rather not do a complete reload.
