I have used FW-1 in NG FP1 and I didn´t have problems. I have Linux RedHat 7.0 with Kernel 2.2, usually, the problem with Linux is the Kernel version, although I heard that Kernel 2.4.x is supported by NG FP2. The performance of the FW has been good in Linux.
