Re: [FW-1] Error in Event log after upgrade 4.1 -> NG FP2

The NT event log entries include a name of a "source" and an event ID.
The source maps, through the registry, to a "module" file (usually .EXE or
.DLL), and the event ID identifies a string resource in that module file.
(If you have zillions of log entries of the same event, this uses far less
space than repeating reams of constant text.)

The Event Viewer is trying to tell you that the source recorded for this
log entry either has no mapping in the registry, or maps to a file that is
not where the registry says it is. (The string resource is often a format
string, with variable subfields stored in the event record. If there are
any of these, the Event Viewer will display them in cases like this, and
sometimes that's enough to guess what the event is without the format
string.)

Did you do something like move the FW-1 binaries after they were
installed?

Hi all,
We upgrade costumers fw and I had this error in event log every few hours.

The description for Event ID ( 2 ) in Source ( FireWall-1 ) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following
