Hi all, I have the following problem: I installed two Firewalls. On the first machine I also installed the management server for both firewall modules. After entering fwstart, the second firewall tries to fetch the policy via the external interface - not via the internal interface. The $FWDIR/conf/masters contains the unqualified name of the management server. fw fetch <managementserver> results in proper operation. The installation of the policy via GUI also works OK. Changing the external interfaces (qfe) IP address in the managementserver (1st firewall) object (topology map) makes the 2nd firewall try to fetch the policy from this new external address of the managementserver. Why the hell does the firewall not fetch the policy via the objects IP address? Please send a copy of the answer to [email protected] - we need fast help.
