Hello. We're about to change our IP addressing scheme, and want to temporarily make our NAT'd webservers accessible by both their current and new IP addresses to avoid DNS caching problems. We have two CheckPoint 4.1 firewalls -- one in HA and one not in HA. In order to set up the double NAT for the webservers, we configured a static route for each external IP. This resulted in two routes to the same destination -- one for each server's current IP and one for the new IP. I wouldn't think this would be a problem, but the firewalls in HA mode didn't like it at all -- we kept losing SSH connectivity to them, etc. Having two routes to the same destination really seemed to screw up HA. Is this a known issue? I'm at a loss as to why two routes to the same destination would mess up HA. Thanks! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
