You could also point out that Cyberguard has never had a publicly disclosed
vulnerability. You can't say the same about Checkpoint.

Firewall-1
The nature of the software design of Cyberguard is more
secure, that's why their achieved level is higher than CP, because CP is using
standard OS.
As far as I would say, depending on your needs you should
decide which one is better for your requirements. With NG FP2 CP is cathing
up, even in the "proxy" area, even if CP is not really using "proxies". That's
one major benefit of Cyberguard. Looking at VPN, well tha's where CP is strong
beside some other's like Netscreen or CISCO PIX.
From my point of view
you need to compare CP on Solaris against Cyberguard and than find out what
you need most and where you are going to. I guess than you will find out,
which one will fit into your needs.
We are using both, Cyberguard and
CheckPoint and well each one has their strenght and weakness!
My 2
Cents

CP Firewall-1
Hai Gurus...
Anybody have any expiriences to
compare Cyberguard Firewall with CP Firewall-1 ?
CyberGuard's guys always
said : they have achieved better level of security rather than CP-Firewall-1
with EAL4 certification.
Any Information will greatly
appreciate.....
Thank in
advance
