Yes i've seen it. What did you upgrade the manager from? I'd say there is something wrong with your objects.c file, or perhaps rulebases.fws. Try moving all the .W files out of conf except the most recent one and then run fwm -g *.W (I think thats it). Now try and start the GUI, if that doesn't work, have a look in logs/fwm.elg for clues.
