I'm not sure what the limits are now. But there used to be limits. Some sp release notes for 4.0 (I think.. Could have been 3.0) stated that there were a maximum of 4096 rules and 2048 nat rules. In addition I think there might be a maximum size for objects.C but I haven't seen a reference to this other than that it will be very slow rule base uploads with a large objects.C. I've never seen any limits on number of objects in the source and dest fields, but it wouldn't look very nice with 10k objects in there. I guess you should rather be grouping them.
