[FW-1] Help with Object.c filemanual editing

My object.c file was manually edited it Notepad and now we cannot access the
policy editor or log viewer.  I do have an earlier file saved as .BAK.  Can
I just reopen the file in Wordpad and resave it or do I have to bring in the
old BAK verison.  My setup is version 4.1 SP 2 on a NT 4.0 sp 6 machine
