Re: [FW-1] Policy Editor over SecuRemote

Yeah I set this up once, but, there is a catch! In normal operation, the
policy viewer traffic is encrypted, and when you try to use securemote
things go a little pear shaped so you have to stop the policy viewer
connection encryption.

I can't log into the CP site to find the tech note so if you haven't got a
login and still want it, mail me and i'll find it for you next week... I
suppose you could use SSH but whats the point when you have SR already.

Subject: [FW-1] Policy Editor over SecuRemote

I'm trying to connect to the management module on my firewall through
SecuRemote. Basically, I want to be able to manage the firewall from a
notebook out in the field (could be from almost anywhere), so my public IP
address will change.

Can I specify a SecuRemote user as a gui client in the gui-clients file? If
not, what rules do I need to create so that I can use the Policy Editor over
SecuRemote?

Thanks.

Joo
