Hi Folks, I have recently been involved in some Firewall disaster recovery work. I am working with a Sun E450 running Solaris 2.6 and Checkpoint Firewall-1 4.0 SP1. The system has dual quad ethernet cards, one onboard ethernet, and wait for it....... a token ring card. I am not currently sure why the client is using this old version of FW-1..... The rebuild and restore process went fine, however I keep getting error messages on boot up about the token ring interface. Traffic flow does however seem to be functioning correctly. The boot log below illustrates the messages I am getting. I cannot find a token ring patch for this version of firewall. Can anyone tell me ... (a) What these messages actually mean. (b) Will these errors cause problems. (c) Is there anyway to resolve these errors. (d) Are there any patches available for this, and where can I get them. Thanks in advance for all your help ! Best Regards, Peter.
