anti-spoof logging is not turned on by enabling implied rule logging (although you should do that in your situation). Instead you have to open the firewall object, go to the interfaces tab and edit the interfaces in question. There will be a security tab. It is there that you can log anti-spoofing. Another option would potentially be an indirect effect of the policy. For example, if you were using vrrp to route and the rules killed vrrp you might see a routing issue where the traffic would be directed towards the firewalls, but the firewalls would not necessarily pick it up. Another option would be NAT. Plenty of times I have seen erroneously configured NAT rules block traffic to certain destinations or apps. Use a tool like tcpdump or sniffer to verify the packet is getting there using the correct mac and ports. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 03, 2002 9:10 PM Subject: Re: [FW-1] Drops are not logged > > An remote office on an internal wan links to one of the segments off of > > the firewall here.
